FARGO, ND (KFGO)- What started as a peaceful protest for the murder of George Floyd has began to intensify.
A rally and march that started at Island Park this morning continued into the afternoon, and moved into downtown Fargo.
Around 6PM the Fargo police department began reporting incidents of protesters throwing water bottles at squad cars. Shortly after police issued a warning that protesters were no longer peaceful and warned to avoid downtown Fargo.
