MINOT, N.D -(KFGO) – A B-52 bomber from the Minot Air Force Base will do a flyover Monday, May 18th to salute front line workers in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Minot.
The paths are chosen specifically to pass over or near to some of the state’s major hospitals.
The B-52 will pass over Sanford Medical Center in Fargo at 2:15 p.m., north of the hospital, flying west to east.
The aircraft will fly west of Atru Hospital in Grand Forks, going north, at 2:30 p.m.
The B-52 is based with the 23rd Bomb Squadron of the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot. It one of only two airbases in the country that flies the B-52 Stratofortress.
