ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO AM) -- The DNR is warning Minnesotans to be careful when venturing onto the ice.
That after an angler from Shakopee died of hypothermia and accidental drowning in the Minnesota River last week.
The DNR's Kara Owens says no ice is 100-percent safe, even if it appears to be.
37-year old Eric Lindquist had been reported missing by his family.
His body was found in the river a couple days later.
