DETROIT LAKES, Minn (KFGO AM) -- Detroit Lakes residents will vote on a $59 million school referendum next Tuesday.
Superintendent Doug Froke says under the plan, the Pre-K program will be relocated to the current Rossman Elementary School.
A new elementary school would be built to house kindergarten through 3rd grade to help ease overcrowding.
There would also be renovations to all of the other buildings.
If the referendum passes, a home priced at $100-thousand would see a tax increase of about $11 a month.
