MINNEAPOLIS, Minn (KFGO AM) -- The 9-year-old boy who managed to board a flight to Las Vegas from the Twin Cities without a boarding pass has been in trouble before.
He was caught earlier sneaking into a water park without paying, and last week he was arrested driving on I-35 in a stolen car.
Hennepin County child protection workers have investigated the boy's family four times since last December.
The boy's mother works at the airport and officials are looking whether she had any role in his solo flight to "sin city".
The boy has a history of behavior problems and his mental health status is being examined.
It is possible that he could be removed from the home.
He is too young to be charged with a crime.
