BISMARCK - (KFGO-AM) -- A judge from Fargo is among those who've applied for an opening on the North Dakota Supreme Court.
East-Central District Judge Lisa Fair-McEvers wants the position left by the retirement of Justice Mary Maring at the end of the year. Others on the list include Connie Cleveland, an assistant Cass County State's Attorney who handles social services and West Fargo Municipal Judge Susan Bailey.
The judical nominating committee will interview the applicants and make recommendations to Gov. Dalrymple.
Maring will retire with four years remaining on her 10-year term.
