FARGO - (KFGO-AM) -- About 350 members of the North Dakota Army and Air National Guard, many of them in the Fargo area, have been furloughed by the partial Federal government shutdown.

Guard leaders tell KFGO News, there was a lot of frustration and disappointment as members were given the news.

Lt. Col. Deb Lien, with the Guard's 141st Manuever Enhancement Brigade, says the group's 150 soldiers sent home have been told to be prepared for the "worst case scenario" but there are a number of resources to help those affected.

199 Federal technicians with the 119th wing are part of the furloughs.
