WEST FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- It was a packed house last night at the West Fargo school board meeting.
Unwavering support continued for Jim Jonas after his recent forced resignation as assistant football and basketball coach.
The supporters, including many wearing "Justice for Jonas" t-shirts, were hoping to convince the board to re-instate his coaching duties.
Several former student athletes spoke in his favor.
More than 1200 signatures in support of Jonas were also presented to the board but no action was taken.
A letter of reprimand placed in Jonas file last week said the decision to strip him of his football and basketball positions was the result of his aggressive style and demeanor on the sidelines and in the classroom.
