(WNFL) - Ultimate Fighting lightweight champion Anthony Pettis of West Allis has had to delay his first title defense. Pettis was supposed to go up against Josh Thomson on December 14th. However, it's postponed indefinitely, after Pettis tore a P-C-L ligament in his left knee August 31st when he defeated Benson Henderson in Milwaukee to win the U-F-C lightweight belt. Pettis says he plans to see another specialist later this month -- and surgery is being considered.
