ST. PAUL, MN (AA Media Information) --The Saints poured on the offense in the middle innings and beat Fargo-Moorhead, 11-1. The Saints stranded the bases loaded in the first inning, but they would get things started in the bottom of the third, when RF Brandon Tripp doubled in a run, 1B Ole Sheldon hit an RBI single and CF Jose Hernandez doubled home Sheldon. The Saints pulled away in the fourth with a five-run outburst. DH Brad Boyer led off the scoring with an RBI single to right field, and then Tripp scored two more on another single to right. Sheldon made it an 8-0 lead with a two-run home run. The Saints added two more in the fifth on LF Willie Cabrera’s two-RBI double, making the score 10-1. St. Paul RHP Mark Hamburger (5-4) coasted to his fifth win, allowing one run on three hits in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out five and walked three.
