A northeastern South Dakota man charged with a series of felonies for an attack at a Wahpeton business in late May has asked for a jury trial.
20 year-old Christopher Yellow Earrings of Peever is accused of cutting the neck of an employee of Family Dollar Store with a scissors.
Several customers including some children were also forced into a room at the store.
A police officer suffered a cut to a hand during a scuffle with Yellow Earrings.
Police say they believe yellow earrings was high on drugs when he entered the business.
