Fourteen Bison Named All-Academic

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU SPORTS INFORMATION) --  The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) have honored seven Bison men and seven Bison women as All-Academic performers for this past year.

The Bison men qualified for the All-Academic team award for the sixth season in a row by posting a cumulative GPA of 3.03. The individual athletes honored were seniors Travis Fitzke, Jesse Morrow, Casey Orgon and Matt Tetzlaff, junior Andy Lillejord, sophmore Jerome Begin and redshirt freshman Brandt Berghuis.

The Bison women ranked third among all Division I Track & Field programs with a cumulative GPA of 3.58 and have received the All-Academic team award for the eigth season in a row. The inidividual athletes honored were seniors Leslie Brost and Brittany Page, juniors Emily Lesser, Maddie McClellan and Ashley Tingelstad, and freshman Anna Benke and Sierra Rosenau.
