FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Nearly $25,000 has now been raised to pay for the veterinary care of the 170 dogs seized from a Wheatland, N.D. dog breeder. A fund to pay for the dogs' care is set up at Bremer Bank.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says Casselton Veterinary Clinic made huge strides over the weekend doing wellness checks, grooming, and vaccinations.
On Friday, the owner of the dogs, darcy smith, asked for his dogs back. The Cass County State's Attorney's Office is still determining whether charges will be filed.
