SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- The Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival continues Friday night with southern rock and blues band the North Mississippi Allstars headlining the main stage.
Also scheduled to take the main stage are American roots and blues artists the Scott Holt Band and Zydeco showman Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band.
The 22nd annual free event at Yankton Trail Park has grown over the years into a top-tier festival drawing numerous top acts and more than 100,000 music lovers from the region.
It began in 1988 with two jazz bands and one blues act playing in a back yard.
