FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A judge has sent a rural Minto, North Dakota man to the state hospital for a mental evaluation after his dogs attacked a Fargo man last weekend. 59 year-old Pete Grzeskowiak has been charged with obstruction and animal mistreatment.
The Walsh County Sheriff's office says he slit the throat of one his dogs as deputies arrived on his property to seize his animals. A veterinarian euthanized four of the dogs.
The 19 year-old victim was chased and attacked by several dogs as he walked along a county road. He spent a night in a hospital.
