FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A passerby called Fargo Police Monday night after noticing two women covered with blood walking down a street on the city's southside. Officers responded to the 1500 block of 34th Ave. around 9:30 p.m.
Lieutenant Joel Vettel says one of the women suffered several stab wounds and slash marks on her arms and torso. He says her injuries are significant, but not life-threatening.
Dawn Nystrom of Fargo is facing charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
No word on what led to the stabbing. Vettel says the women were extremely intoxicated.
