BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- A Texas man will serve 11 years in prison for his part in a bank robbery in the western North Dakota town of New England.
Federal prosecutors say 29-year-old Johnner Ward Junior of Abilene, Texas was sentenced Monday to four years for bank robbery.
After that term, he'll serve seven years for use and carry of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
He pleaded guilty to both counts and also has to pay more than $4,200 in restitution and fees.
Authorities say two men wearing black ski masks and carrying guns entered American Bank Center in New England on October 28th and ran away after grabbing money from a bank employee.
Jurors convicted 19-year-old Colt Schneider of Rapid City, South Dakota last week for his role in the heist.
