GARRISON, N.D. (AP) -- Garrison voters who rejected a $9 million school bond issue last November will soon decide the fate of a scaled-down proposal.
An October 8th election is scheduled on a $5 million measure.
If approved, it will pay for expansion at the city's elementary school and the high school. Superintendent Steve Brannan says more space is needed to handle an increase in enrollment. The measure would raise taxes on a $100,000 home about $100 per year.
