FARGO, N.D. (RedHawks Media Relations)-– Ethan Opsahl pitched six solid innings and Tim Alberts had a second consecutive four-hit performance as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks beat the Winnipeg Goldeyes 10-2 Sunday at Newman Outdoor Field. Six Fargo-Moorhead (46-28) hitters had multi-hit games in the contest. Ronnie Bourquin went 3-for-5 and was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. C.J. Retherford drove in three runs, while Zach Penprase, Keith Brachold and Jeremiah Piepkorn had two hits apiece. Ethan Opsahl picked up his first victory of the season by pitching six innings of three-hit baseball. Opsahl gave up two hits and two unearned runs in the second, but only allowed another hit in the fifth. He walked two and struck out one batter. Mackenzie King pitched the final three innings and earned a save, allowing only one hit and striking out two in relief. The RedHawks have now won all nine games they have faced the Goldeyes this season and won’t see Winnipeg again until the last series of the regular season. Winnipeg starter Edgar Osuna fell to 3-2 in the loss. Osuna pitched five innings and gave up six runs on nine hits and five walks. Gabe Aguilar and Kaohi Downing pitched the sixth and seventh, respectively, and Justin Garcia threw a scoreless eighth.
