The proposed smoking ban law that could be on the November ballot includes banning the so-called “electronic cigarettes.”
Those devices are advertised as a safe alternative to smoking. But Chelsey Matter, of smoke free North Dakota, says there are questions being raised about just how safe they are.
The measure would ban smoking in all public places. North Dakota Secretary of State Al Jaeger is checking to see there are enough valid signatures to get it on the ballot.
