A new flood forecast from the National Weather Service shows a 90% chance that the Red River through Fargo-Moorhead will near major flood stage of 30-ft. That's a level Fargo city leaders consider easy to handle.
There's only a five-percent chance the river will surpass 38-feet.
To put things into perspective, in 2009, the Red River through Fargo-Moorhead crested at just under 41-ft.
