Suit Filed In Grand Forks Crash

The parents of two children killed two years ago when a semi ran a red light near Grand Forks have sued the driver.

 

 

 

 

The parents of two children killed two years ago when a semi ran a red light near Grand Forks have sued the driver.

Kevin Boyer and his family were waiting at an intersection on Highway Two West of Grand Forks when a semi, driven by 64 year old Steven Nelson of Jamestown, ran a red light slamming into Boyer's van.

The Boyer's are seeking at least 50 thousand dollars.

One witness said the semi appeared to be going 55 miles per hour or faster when it hit the van.
