The Taxpayers League of Minnesota opposes raising any taxes to the address the state's projected $1.1 billion deficit.
President Phil Krinkie says lawmakers could repeat what the 2011 legislature did to tackle a more than $5 billion deficit.........
Krinkie says that includes tax hikes on incomes, sales, tobacco, gasoline and services.
The AFSCME State Employees Union is among the groups calling on state lawmakers to increase taxes on the top income bracket, saying they should pay their fair share.
