A memory card, missing from a camera attached to the vintage airplane flown by legendary pilot Bob Odegaard, has been found at the Valley City Airport.
Volunteers used metal detectors in the search. Former National Guard Adjutant General Mike Haugen found the card near the crash site, next to the runway. The card will be given to the Odegaard family who will turn it over to the FAA.
It's hoped that the card will offer some clues as to the cause of the Sept. 7 crash. Odegaard was practicing for an air show when the plane went down.
