Hundreds of families are wondering what they'll do now that the food pantry in Thief River Falls has closed.
The pantry is $6,500 in debt for food purchases. It had been serving 300 people and their families in the surrounding area.
Pastor Bert Foster has taken over the reins of the pantry. He says he wants to hire a part-time business manager for the pantry and make sure everything operates without a financial loss.
Foster plans on re-opening the pantry this fall.
