To Bradley
Dear Brad,

We are 25 percent through the NFL 2013 regular season. I tend to forget the first 25 percent of everything ever so I want to send this email to allow us to look back at our picks in the Ongoing Wager (click here to see http://bit.ly/11JLgXS) and answer a few questions.

What team has surprised you the most?
What team that has had the worst start will rebound?
What player is the MVP in the AFC and NFC?
What is the worst division in the NFL?

I'll let you answer these first and I will respond. This should be fun because I can already hear you say, "Well, it is so early in the season..." Stop. Don't be that guy.

To Daniel,

I'll be whatever guy I want to be. The team that has surprised me the most is the New York Giants, and not in a good way. More like a really, really bad way. I picked them to win the division (whoops) and knew that it was a bit of a stretch, but I didn't see them being this bad.

Team that will rebound? Pittsburgh, although I don't feel good about it. I could say Green Bay, but I don't think that 1-2 is bad enough to consider it a rebound. This is more just pure faith that Tomlin and Roethlisberger will get things together.

MVPs? Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, and at this point it's not very close. It usually goes to a quarterback and these guys have been nothing short of spectacular so far.

Worst division? NFC LEast. This has been disappointment across the board for these four teams, and I don't know who is going to separate from the pack, although Dallas seems most likely. As putrid as New York has been, they are just two games out of first in the division. Pathetic.

To Bradley,

I'm glad you are going to play along today. For me, the most surprising team is the Detroit Lions. I know you're not a big fan of their head coach and frankly who would be but in a division that legitametly has three teams that could go to the playoffs, for them to lead it is surprising. We will see if it will continue.

Team that will rebound, for me, will be the Atlanta Falcons. Their record at 1-3 has been due to a pretty tough opening to the schedule. Saints on the road w/ Sean Payton back. Tom Brady at any point at any venue and a surprising Dolphins team on the road. Next four games for them are all games they should win, setting the team up for a showdown w/ Seattle.

MVP to this point is Peyton Manning. Guy looks like... well I'm not sure what to compare it to. It has been nuts.

Worst Division is of course the NFC East. Eagles are bad. Redskins are bad. Giants are bad. And the one team that could win it, the Cowboys, will go 8-8 or 9-7 this season and look bad doing it. And, of course, that will win the division because of course. This division is embarrassing. Like the AFC West when Tim Tebow and the Broncos won the division.

Side note: REMEMBER TIM TEBOW!!!! Man, those were the days.
