My wife and I, and our dog Rudy, went to the Humane Society Fargo-Moorhead's open house yesterday. Rudy is a rescue pet from the Humane Society F-M shelter and he's been selected as the grand marshal of the annual PAWS Walk in September, so the Humane Society folks asked us if Rudy would make an "appearance." He was only too glad to help.
We took a tour of the shelter to see what dogs were up for adoption and we came across Roscoe, a big old lug of a sheperd/Rottweiler mix who looked as gentle and kind as can be. I wanted to take him home. Michelle had other opinions. I know our daughter Emma, if she hadn't been at camp, would've agreed with me.
Here is a quick video of Roscoe. He needs a home. Can you help. I love this big galoot.
Here is a photo of Roscoe:
Roscoe is a neutered male, with all his shots.
The Humane Society web site says "Are you looking for a gentle giant to be your buddy? Look no further, Roscoe is your man! Roscoe is a big boy that just wants to cuddle and go for walks! If you want to meet and learn more about this big guy, stop up to shelter."
The Humane Society Fargo-Moorhead shelter is located at 1201 28th Ave. North in Fargo. The phone number is (701) 239-0077.
