"Jack Seaman of Fargo announces candidacy for U.S. House of Representatives in 2014"

FARGO, ND - Local businessman Jack Seaman of Fargo officially announced his candidacy for U.S.Congress today. Mr. Seaman received the Libertarian Party of North Dakota’s endorsement at their August state convention in Carrington, ND.
“Congress is stuck in perpetual gridlock. Republicans and Democrats aren't getting the job done and they haven't for a long time. We deserve better. I am running for Congress because I am sick and tired of the way our Federal Government is working or, in many cases, not working. I've talked to countless North Dakotans who share my frustration and they've encouraged me to run," said Jack.
“As North Dakota’s voice for liberty in Congress, I’ll be a proponent of meaningful spending cuts, regulatory and tax reforms, debt reduction, restoring our personal freedoms and getting big government out of our lives. Our nation was founded on good principles and I believe if we use that foundation, along with a little common sense, we can hand off something better to future generations,” Jack continued.
“I’m not running for politics as usual or to cater to party leadership. I’m not a rehashed, career politician and I have no intention of becoming one. If voters want something different to come out of Washington, they need to send different people there. I’m just a regular guy who’s gotten fed up enough to take action. It’s not too late to turn this thing around. We can change our government, one seat at a time,” said Jack.
Jack has been a North Dakota resident for 26 years and lives in South Fargo with his wife. He has two children, ages 17 and 14. He owns and operates MinDak Gold Exchange in downtown Fargo.
