Not something you see every day, or ever, at a bowling alley

If you bowl, you know the tension that builds as a bowler nears a 300 game. Everybody stops rolling so as not to disrupt the bowler going for perfection. The alleys become silent. It's pretty cool. 

So you can imagine having the tension broke by a mechanical failure at the worst possible moment.

The bowler, by the way, did not complete the 300 game. He got 9 pins on his re-roll and finished at 297.
