North Dakota State started right where it left off a week ago. Another long drive... another touchdown.
In it's last possession and final drive last Friday, NDSU marched 80 yards in 8 minutes, 30 seconds before Quarterback Brock Jensen scored the game-winning touchdown with 28 seconds left in a 24-21 win over Kansas State.
This week against Ferris State, The Bison received the ball first - then proceded to drive 78 yards in 5 minutes, 11 seconds, hilighted by a Jensen to Zach Vraa 42 yard pass, and capped by another Jensen 1 yard touchdown run, putting NDSU up 7-0.
Ferris State, a Division II school in Michigan seemed to be caught off guard by the loud NDSU Crowd. In fact, the crowd which was treated to a National Championship banner raising cerimony minutes before the game was so loud , the Bulldogs were forced to call a timeout before it's third play from scrimmage. The very next play after the timeout - the Fargodome crowd of over 18,000 was credited with forcing a false start.
North Dakota State went on to score touchdowns in each of it's first four possessions, building a 21-0 lead after the first quarter, and a 35-7 lead at halftime.NDSU (2-0) rolled up 425 total yards of offense en route to a 56-10 final.
