1957 Fargo Tornado Video

It was 57 years ago, an F5 tornado turned violent and deadly. The tornado struck the north Fargo (Golden Ridge) area in the early evening. Damage was extensive. Approximately 329 homes were destroyed and some of them were completely swept off their foundations. Another 1035 homes were damaged. Fifteen farm homes were destroyed and 30 suffered major damage. Two hundred automobiles were destroyed and 300 damaged. In the end, ten people lost their lives, including 6 children from one family. Here is a short video of the deadly tornado...
